ill put in my vote of you have the look and style.
can you post up a pop can pic please? the 215/40's worry me a tad.. means pretty much no stretch wich adds about a 1/4" to ride height.

edit, your protege is very clean and ive always liked it. the rx7 wheels accent it nicely

Yeah ill try and get a can pic for you and I don't know about the hole 1/4in. higher part. I was on 205/45 tires on my stockers like you have and when I switched to the 40 series tire they actually lowered the car a lil more. There is a wee bit of a stretch, but it's not a lot. The pictures don't really show it. I like some meat on my wheels and that tire was the only size i could find that was wide enough and wouldn't rub the perches on the coilover, nor rub the fender and burn through the paint. My front lip barely clears the 2 pieces of wood in the first pic if you wanna use that as a reference point ha ha

evade passes cuz hes on 18's tucking tire

If i where to give my vote for JM1, it would be because he is on 16's, although he is BARELY tucking tire. looks awesome no doubt

Evade is looking good imo. As is JM1.

I will withhold my vote tho until I get some sort of reference pic...cell phone, soda can, credit card, keys, etc.

JM1 looks like he could go a bit amount lower with those 16s.

i am on 205/50's currently. i was just saying reg for a 8w is 205 or even 195. and my car would push that second 2x4 off lol. still a can pic would decide it all :)

not hating just want to make sure

evade, its looking good, if you dont get a no by the time i get back from grocery shopping all add you in ;)

Just realized I missed this post. a 2x4 is 1.5" wide on the short side. The front bumper has more than 3" of ground clearance if you're barely clearing both 2x4s. Yeah 3" of GC is pretty low but it doesn't meet "slammed" criteria imo. I wanna see you at least push the second one off before you get my vote. In for more reference pics and you going a bit lower. I know you can tuck a bit more of those 16s bro!

so what type of strech yall think i should get for a 7.5w rim??? i know its not that wide so dont bomb me lol..
