Maybe this is why the Twinsburg cop yelled at me once he finally pulled me over out of his jurisdiction....... he was on my ass for miles and I waited till the last second to brake for a traffic light with people stopped at it (he could have seen that had he not been on my ass lol). But from everything I heard the city doesn't pay for repairs to civilian vehicles. So if a cop hits you, you're pretty much screwed. If you get rear ended by someone, whether you brake check them or not, it is on them, for not being at a safe distance behind you.........
Very! ...unless a cop is involved in the accident lolAccording to my legal council, Tom Cabral, both drivers would be at fault! I guess since the driver who brake checked, initiated the contact (committed an intentional act) and the other driver did not maintain a safe distance. Interesting to say the least.

I've heard of instances where the city absolutely would not pay. Wonder what happened in those cases. Not true! Same rules apply, unless they are usng lights and siren. Eventhen, the cop can have some liability if he or she acted unreasonably.....Cops are not above the law.....
So I truly think I'm cursed with cars right now.... On my way back from lunch the valves or timing chain started to chatter like a mofo on Whitney just outside my office... I'm without a running/working car... **** meI give up

Hopefully it's just the timing chain tensioner and not a big deal. She's been pretty reliable for you these last couple years, no?
boo. This is not your year for cars![]()
I like my car too much to risk getting hit so I don't brake check people. I just leave their hoods covered in soot. No one wants to be sitting back there breathing it all in so they usually back off

Did anyone else read this in the Dos Equis man voise?I rarely get tailgated, but when I do... I'll drop a gear and blow soot at them and quickly get out of the way.

I used to mess with people who tailgated me on the highway... Until I encountered a particularly crazy guy who proceeded to follow me all the way to work. Too many crazies out there, you never know what they are going to do. I'm not going to get shot over people driving like idiots. I'll just get out of there way and go on with my day.
If someone starts following, I never go to my intended destination. If I have nothing better to do I will follow someone who pissed me off, their facial expressions change real quick when they figure it out, I go a little further with them then end it. Make them think twice about ******* with someone, which is just what that guy did to you lol!I used to mess with people who tailgated me on the highway...
