The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Take pics to update you thread.

And after reading some of the OMS posts and following comments, I would like to take this time to apologize for any noob-ness that led to arrogance I might have had when I joined this forum. It's getting really annoying to read anything on there and the main reason why I don't post. I'd like to think I was just annoying with my crazy ideas about the MSP and what car to get next but if it falls into that category I would also like to apologize for that as well.

I will

Oh and Nate... there is a difference. We all started as n00bs. We all had dumb questions at some point. The difference is seeing those who are willing to learn, and those who continue to ask the same questions because they didn't like the first answer they got. A lot also comes down to the person themselves. All of you in this thread that I've met in person (which is 99% of you) are still in my group of friends that I will help if ever needed, I will invite to my house for the cookouts and other events, and I continue to hold conversations with. Possibly because we were all about the same age when we joined here and have all grown up as individuals and have real lives... not to mention have been bitten hard by real life a time or two. So many members of the younger generations find that anything bad that happens to them is a result of someone else's action, not their own. Something doesn't work the way they want it to, so it's the fault of something else, not that their dillusion of grandeur is in fact flawed. As much as I try to separate myself from it while still maintaining some sort of contact to the groups, I still find myself getting pulled into the stupidity and bulls***. I feel that for my sake, it's best for me to pull the plug and completely disconnect from it. Not here, of course, because I like you guys... but from the rest of it.

Oh absolutely no harm to myself or others. Never worry about that with me.

Funny story, kind of related:

You wouldn't believe how many times at work I've had to explain to snotty kids in their MKIV GTIs and B5 Audi A4s that mom and dad bought for them why their Hawk HPS pads make "awful squealing noises".
Their response: They are defective, I need to return them.
My response: You cannot return used pads; they are normal.
Their response: They are defective, I need to return them.
etc....

I actually feel bad that I have to call them "high performance racing pads" to make it seem like they are extraordinary and superior to everything else out there... I mean, I like the pads and they have great performance, but imagine if these kids bought something even more aggressive (because race car)??? Research, then buy, folks.

I am awake, potty training not going so well but I have reclaimed my desk in the office so it's not been a completely wasted morning.

@ 4AM tomorrow I'm headed to Lebanon, PA to have the MSM tuned. A few hours later I'm heading back, so I should be back home around 7 or 8PM...

Sunday I don't think I'll be up to driving, but I might go to the range to have some sights installed and may go to a miata meet

I have several Factory Sight Mounting Tools, lemme know what you have and you can do it yourself (or I can help you). You can even use it at the range and make adjustments on the fly!

This weekend was great fun, but I woke up this morning feeling as if I hadn't slept all weekend.

Spent weekend working on the cars........and now its Monday! Damn weekend is too short, spent half of Sunday prepping for Monday!

I managed to pull off a valve cover gasket replacement on my sister's car while my son was napping yesterday, quite impressive considering I was on my own all day.

Hey how's it going? Where are you located? I should probably get an alignment this season. Depending on where you're located and what you charge, it may be worth it to get my alignment done at your work.
