I had major brake fade at mid ohio. But also I removed my dust shields because I hate them they always rust and then cut me while doing brake jobs. So I always remove them when I can.
The brake duct setup for Miatas utilize something similar to the dust shields, with the duct hose attached. I assume it's to keep the cool air from just fumbling in the general direction of the rotor or hitting a spot on the rotor and getting blown away. I don't see why you couldn't do something similar with the already-existing dust shields.

I was running hps but I am going to be running hp+ next year. Also trying to figure out something for brake duct cooling. Idk if I really want to hax my fogs though.
