The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I need a bigger meth tank. I went through about a quart just on the way to work.....

haha Car people are tools... But I will try the adjustment on the trany if not I'll get a replacement. I am happy with the car it has a 12.5 gal tank and I go 380 miles on it and average 35 mpg and cost $25 to fill up
Not bad for a car from the 90s with 200k+ on it. I never seem to get more than 28 in any of my cars. Must be the limit for 75-90 highway cruising with 4 cylinders lol. On the flip side, they all get 14-15mpg on track.

I average 7.5 on the track.... The speed on e gets thirsty. And john just get the trunk tank that Mark has. Or that snow performance trunk tank. what is your spray based off of?

I dont want to take up any trunk space at all. If anything I'll build a tank to stuff in a fender or dual tanks stuffed somewhere. I always make sure to carry an extra gallon just in case I get really boost happy like this morning.

I was doing some testing late last night so I had it set to activate at 7psi with full pressure on by 15psi. I also finally installed my 3 bar map sensor so I'm probably going to try and push this little K04 to 23-24psi if I can get enough testing done before winter hits hard. My snow tires are only rated for 99mph unfortunately.

I will be running both when I bring the speed back out. E is worth the extra trips. and I have enough tanks at home to store a bit of it

I was going to have mine come on at 5psi and full spray by 10. is that to early?
For the amount of Meth that I'm spraying it would be to much but keep in mind I'm running two nozzles.
John, are you running e85 in addition to spraying meth?

Also, what kind of power are you seeing on vdyno?
I was but the E content has already started to go down to winter blend (started back in october). Right now I'm on my safer 93 tune until the summer blend E85 is back. I haven't had a chance to nail down any good logs for VD lately. My baseline before the FMIC and meth was in the 280-290hp range when I left off on my 93 tune with a stock TMIC.

It really depends on his intentions. Now that hes wanting to still run E I would say yes. If he was going to stick with meth only for cooling and fuel I would say start around 8-10psi with full coming on by 17-18psi and if that doesn't do enough step it down 2psi at a time as needed depending on the logs.

Just got my updated car insurance policy, just the Escape and storage on the Camaro dropped it down to $55.00/month! I've never paid less that $95 (and that was just recently)

anybody have any big plans this weekend?

It's a 3 day weekend for me but no real plans. I have to work some OT tomorrow morning but having Monday off doesn't make it seem like a big deal. Probably just minor things around the house and getting my mom's house ready to go on the market.

Thanks it will be used as a supplemental fueling source soon. But as of now it will just be a cooling and cleaning source. I will be running 1 nozzle for now but when I need to use it for fuel I am thinking about tapping the intake manifold with 4 nozzles and injectors. Also I think at that point I will need to be running meth without dies and bug flavoring

Edit: And to all you people paying low insurance... EFF off

Might be going to PA tomorrow for a conference, swapping suspension with Will on Sunday. Making changes on financial stuff to be able to pay s*** off faster, save a little money and get a few parts for the miata.

Will have stock suspension up for sale soon, maybe the seats as well.

I'm sure I used to a lot pay more when I was your age than you do now.

and now I'm officially old for using the phrase "when I was your age"

As long as you don't let the nozzles get clogged the dye isn't an issue. Even the Boost juice has dye, the issue is more the detergent which can be combated by running a bottle of "Heet" (straight meth) every so often mixed in with your washer fluid. Although this is based off of the blue fluid, not sure how your green with the extra detergents will fair.

What size nozzle are you going to run?

won't you be better off with the new cp-e intake manifold?

Depends on his goals and how the CPE ends up performing. The only benifit to the JMF intake manifold over a PNP manifold is that the JMF flows more equally but then again the PNP manifold fixes about 80-90% of that.

no point. Cheaper to just tap my mani as I bet the cp-e mani will be priced horribly for my wallet. And Jake made 533 on a PnP stock mani and I am not going further than him so whats the point. Its cheap to tap meth injectors into a mani. I am trying to learn how to do it myself as I have the tools to get it done. Just not the know how. And I am just running a DO7 nozzle now. But not sure when the time comes to use it for fuel. I know DO has a kit for this so probably whatever that uses
