Brains, I read in some YouTube comments that certain batteries will make radar/laser detectors go off under acceleration. Might be why yours goes off in certain cars and not others.

Tell your woman to stfu. It's either a dinner for her or paying for a ticket.
x50 doesn't learn, but it has a couple of less sensitive modes. Also, make sure you have the latest firmware on it - I sent mine in for an update last year and it did get better.

I only do about 5-7 over around town and 10 over on the highway. Unless I'm really annoyed by stupid drivers then I'll go faster to get away from them into my safety bubble.

its great when I'm on 71 and passing over 18 going north and people come over 6 lanes immediatley as they get on the highway to do 60 in the left lane. But it makes me really happy when people see me coming and I don't have to touch my cruise.

Yeah, mine beeps for every automatic door i pass. I just ignore that band now with selective hearing lol. Adjusting my mirrors also sets off laser alert.

I use to have some cobra brand radar detector, and it went off everywhere. Once I knew where it went off I ignored it. But I haven't had it in the car in probably 6 years, was going to use going to North Carolina but couldn't find the power cord. An I think I have everybody beat on being slow, on Sunday for some reason I kept driving 10 below everywhere I went in town. So I am a higher rank slow then captain. So that would be a master sargent or colonel right?

alright I want to get my intake manifold and valve cover powder coated. Original place I took them to said it would be 80-90 to get both done. But now the place they use isn't responding to them so they asked me to find another place. Everywhere I call said it will be 150-250 to get them done and I just think thats a little steep. Does anyone know any decent place that would do it for around 100? I want like a Lapis Blue Metallic that comes on the 04-06 mazda 6
