Call the hospital it was done through and ask for the billing records. If they sent it to collections, that would be in their records.

Good. I told you about the "collections agency" who harassed me for $1400 for a mystery bill I never had and they threatened to have me arrested and everything. I freaked out too. But when they couldn't mail me any documentation, had no records they could share with me and the gentlemen (I'm using that term loosely in this fellow's case) was extremely rude I told them i would call them back. After a quick google search I found many others scammed by them, found their office and number. I told Ivan the whole story and he would call them everyday on his hour drive home from work to harass them. haha! My favorite was when he said "What kind of bed do you have? Because I'm amazed you can sleep at night.".
Of course, this could be a legit claim as well and should be looked into. But good thing your sister calls you for everything first.

Pablo, great advice you have given your sister. Should it turn out to be legit and she has to pay something, def. check with insurance to see if they have paid anything towards it. After that, have her call the hospital to set up a payment plan and inquire about any form of 'reduced care cost programs' (what a local hospital up here calls theirs) they may have. The RCCP thru the LV Network up her has saved me thousands over the past couple of years. Mailed them copies of three months worth of check stubs, bank statements and the 2012 tax filing and about a week later got a letter stating that I qualified for an 83.5% discount based off of annual income and family size and it's valid for any visits for 6 months after approved as well as any outstanding accounts I had with them!!!!! And for anyone worried about the hospital losing money, they simply write it off as a loss come tax time. /end rant now before I get going on the healthcare/insurance issues this great Country of ours has....

I got the spc ones from amazon when I did my coilovers. I went through his whole site and I just don't have the balance shat delete and the battery box which neither I really need or see a point in. Well till my battery dies.
