If she's looking at a Golf, tell her to spend a little bit more and get a GTI.
She had a boner for this 2003 GTi VR6 in VA but dragged her feet and the dealership sold it. I'm staying out of it because she get's all girly and wishy-washy about buying a car. She basically wants something "cute" regardless of how reliable it is. I'm the complete opposite, I've got the Milly which is god ugly, but reliable as hell. Her dad is a hot rod guy and he wants her to buy domestic, I want her to buy Japanese and she wants German. Haha.
She didn't learn her lesson the first time with the TT, Peaches. Go figure. She loves replacing timing belts...didn't she learn from the first German experience? That car will be a money pit in the future
I mean, if I had $11k to spend on a car I'm sure I could fine something really nice, even if it did need a little work. But she's so picky it's best for me to keep my mouth shut so I don't get in trouble. haha
