lulz....I always feel like such a perv when I watch it!

And no homo, but I'm super jelly of the guy gymnasts. It'd be freakin awesome to be that strong and be able to do those things....holy CRAP!

Sucks that some of our dominant athletes are going downhill a bit. Phelps in that 200M fly....what a tool. Now May-Treanor/Walsh-Jennings lost their first set ever in the Olympics?! I'm sure they'll deliver though...they're awesome!

I find it hard to watch gymnastics because I have no idea what's going on. They'll do something that looks awesome to me and it will get a crappy score...

LOL, female gymnasts are kind of scary nowadays. I understand the strength required means they're going to have a built appearance but I seem to remember them being more attractive when I was younger. It's either that or they look like 12 year-olds. Now women's beach volleyball... damn!

+1 on the men's gymnastics. THe stuff they do on the pommel (sp?) horse and the rings just boggles my mind. I can only ever dream of having that much upper body strength...

Regarding Phelps, I personally think it would have been better if he had retired. I think this is his third Olympics and a sport like swimming doesn't exactly favor the older athletes. Besides, how the hell do you top Beijing?!

All that being said I'm very disappointed in the coverage. When I get home from work there's three channels broadcasting Olympic coverage, but two of them are covering boxing and basketball, which are two sports I really don't care about. The third is hit or miss. What happened to all the soccer coverage?! Just because the U.S. men's team isn't competing doesn't mean it shouldn't be covered!

I can respect men's gymnastics until the floor routine, which was on last night. Wow....
 
and yeah, seeing some of the things those male gymnasts do... wow, the pommel horse and rings... damn
thats some serious upper body strength...



any of you Comcrap customers, i know i have a dedicated Olympic Basketball Channel and Olympic Football channel, might be something worth looking for if you didnt already know that, its been nice to see some of the football (soccer) games as well as seeing USA basketball (even though i knew they won, still nice to actually see a little bit of the games haha)

At least they're not dancing and prancing around like the women. For the most part they're just running back and forth doing hand-springs and somersaults. I think they're required to have some stationary features in the their routine but they're usually rediculous hand-stands and such. I only saw the men's team competition and the U.S.'s floor routine wasn't too bad.

Yea, they DO have some broad ass shoulders nowadays, don't they? haha It's weird that these 14 and 15 year olds can be thrust into the national/world spotlight like that. I feel so bad for them when they screw up, but at the same time, you're supposed to be the best in the country, you've trained your whole life, have been practicing those routines for years now, and you can't deliver when it counts?? <--that goes for all Olympians.

I'm just glad to find out that the girl I think is the best looking is 18, now I don't feel like a cradle robber. lololol

It's cool that he's the most decorated Olympian of all time, but it's still weird because he's getting to be washed up. Like, he's barely getting metals this year to reach that goal, when he straight up mauled everyone in '08.

I don't like how they jump all over the place with the coverage, it's hard to keep up with what's going on! I need to see if we have more channels that cover the games...

Floor routine is my least favorite too. lol I DO think it's super bad ass when they start doing that windmill s*** on their hands though!
 
Right on, Lauri mentioned you guys are going back to Jersey this weekend. When she said something was "Arange" instead of orange. lulz.
 
We just go to the Fairlawn one.
