The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Karting looked like a good time.

Had someone leave a note with there name and # on my Camaro interested in purchasing it.

He's comming to look at it this weekend so we'll see but I doubt it. He wants to restore one so I don't think I have what he's looking for. All depends on his offer if he makes one.

would have liked to make it out for carting... I had a late lunch today and called Mazda, got my application approved! for some reason he couldn't expand the results and see the car next to my name, so I had to send him a couple of screenshots

Are you actively trying to sell it? I thought it was going to be a practice car.

I'm not hoping to sell it, but I figure it couldn't hurt to hear an offer. I have a feeling he won't offer much so it will be easy to say no but he could always make an offer I would be stupid to turn down. This will probably be the first and last time I ever call anyone that has left a number inquiring about it.

Why don't you want to sell it, Nate? Does it hold sentimental value? It sounded like it's pretty rough and a full restoration would be a lot of $$$, no? Just curious.

I used to do that with basses, if I didn't use them, I would just sell them.

sentimental value. If I'm not going to get much of an offer, say $500 why not just keep it and tinker and learn with out having to worry about getting back together in a rush to drive it to work?

here's some pics so you know how bad it is

My 55 was worse than that. The nice thing about 70's firebirds and comaros is there is pletty of parts and weld on panels to choose from. Still a good project car. SB or BB?

It's a SB 350. Unfortunately pieces like around the rear window and door jamb are hard to come by for the wrap around style glass. If it was a 74 or earlier it would be a piece of cake.

Corey - Pontiac Nationals @ Norwalk this weekend! My dad and I are taking his '68 out on Sunday, need to check out the swap meet section. Hopefully there's some good stuff left, we need a lot to put it back on it's wheels...

I know, but my wedding and all that jazz is this weekend. I wanted to go, but there was too much stuff going on these last couple weekends. Take some pics for me. I can't wait to own a 71-73 with a 455, white with blue to match the 79 of course :)

If I would have known that a couple years ago you could of had the shell of my 1980 formula. The bottom rear was beyond repairable and would have cost me a fortune to fix. The whole subframe and underbody was gone, but the shell was in pretty good shape. Now all I have is the hood, bumper, snowflake wheels, both doors and some odds and ends. I can't believe that thing didn't snap in half while driving down the road. When they picked it off the lift the front end basically snapped right off.

YEEEEEEEAH BUDDY!

got myself a chive shirt (breakn)

I was able to place the order at 11:57, site was fine. By 12:01, site was considerably slow, by 12:03 it was impossible to browse... I would say their servers already crashed

I tried getting on this morning and it was stupid to even try. Every time I would go to click on something it would just die.

way to go pablo!
good luck in the future corey...

i have 4 chive shirts right now, 1 - the chive, 2 - KCCO (original green, army green) and then a BFM
