Nate, that just CRACKED me up!! Have a good weekend, meeps! We are heading out to Jersey tonight for the Grand-Am races ... if you watch the race on sunday, keep an eye out for us!! (i've been known to stand in front of the camera, behind the person being interviewed, on previous occasions) : D SMILE!!
oh, and a quick shout out to Conrads (snow rd) in Parma: great customer service, you get a discount on mounting if you bought the tires from tire rack, and they give you a AAA discount too, not to be combined with other discounts.
oh, and speaking of AAA, all you people with car issues need to seriously consider investing in AAA or similar, so you don't get stuck somewhere with no way home ... just sayin'

Took off the oil pan (some small metal peices inthe bottom) and found out I need to take off the trans to get the last 2 bolts out of the bottom craddle plate before I can take a look up into the bottom of the motor or crank. Fun fun, so it looks like I'll be taking out the motor and trans tomorrow. This will be a big puzzle for me to remember.
Baggies. Lots of baggies for hardware that you label. If there are different sized bolts in different places for a component, get a piece of cardboard, draw the bolt pattern out and put each bolt in the right place. Trust me, you don't want to realize once it's time to put it back together that you don't know where anything goes...

Also take pics of everything even the things that "you know were they go". Label all wiring on both sides of the conectors, when I pulled a motor I lableled all the wiring with the # from the FSM or Hanes service manual that way you have a reference to go back to.
Good luck hope you finish in time to make it for the NWOR auto-x @ the airport. I am already registered btw.
Pffsht, I like puzzles. I don't label s***. When we pulled the KL from the P5 Wes even labelled the hood prop.
Like the other fellas said, lots of small sandwich baggies, masking tape and a marker. That carboard trick is a good idea if you don't plan on having people in your work area. I prefer to label everything and keep them in baggies tucked away in a safe spot. But the good thing about pulling a motor is you become extremely familiar with how everything works and where it goes. Changing a belt is a piece of cake now. haha. Best of luck, buddy! Isn't this the truth! Good thing it was only the condensor for the oil pressure gauge...
Need some opinions here. My current job is in the construction field and we get laid off a lot. I have a job offer that will be a little more stable but ill take a big pay cut to start. In a year or so ill be making what i am now. If it were you would you take the new job making like 5.00 less an hr and tuff it out a year?
