The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Good lord is it quiet in here today.

I got a new job. I'll be selling Fords for Byers. Should be very interesting to see how this works out. These new Fords are shockingly nice though.

Oh, and they have an 03 Spicy Orange MSP that just got traded in. It's pretty clean minus the front grill for having 120k on it. They are asking way too much for it, and the sales manager didn't like me nosing around it either. (lol2)

thank you to all who attended, helped out and donated at LRP this year!!!

Congrats on the Job. Where is Byers Ford?

I'm sorry. ;) You'll probably never get to drive anything interesting at work, unless it's a trade, lol.

I wonder how all of the fake chrome grills and blingin 24" stock wheels will look on their heaps of garbage in about 10 years...

Congrats on the Job. Where is Byers Ford?

All the way in Delaware. It's a commute, but I take the back roads so it's a blast.

The largest wheels you can get are 20". And you do know Ford had a hand in building your 626, right?

I know the part that Ford made for it was the s***-tastic CD4E auto trans that has a rep for blowing up in less than 100k miles on stock power. Quality, eh?

All the good parts on it are Mazda. ;) (ignoring the FS...)

Congrats Nick. I'm a huge fan of the new Ford line. I've actually tossed around the idea of a Fusion a few times. Also the new 5.0.

The Fusion would work well for me, considering I'm so burnt out by the car scene that I want out of it as fast as I possibly can.

The new Ford line is great. My dad's company car is the new Taurus SHO and I love it.

+1 on the '12 Focus, especially the ST. If they ever brought the Focus RS over here I'd buy it in a second.

yeah wes you sound like an ignorant mazda fanboy right now...

the new ford line is pretty damned good, grats on the new job nick, might be coming your way in a couple years (if you're still there) for some 5.0 goodness :D

damn that's a far drive, nick...congrats on the job! i like fords a lot. i like the fusions, focuses, and fiestas. not a fan of the chrome, but that stuff can be changed :D

Wow, I guess Wes did not like any of the reviews of the Ford line up. As much as I am a Mazda fan, the Fiesta is a better deal than the Mazda 2 by far and I'll be the first to admit it. Secondly, the Focus RS will never hit these shores in its current form, thanks to Ford and their protective ways concerning the Mustang. Lastly, the Mustang Boss 302 line is muscle redefined, 302R full race prepped car, 302S, street version and the Laguna street/track combo. Hell, even the 6 cyl is fasters than the previous gen GT's and the like.

Ford has come a long way and as far as I am concerned is way ahead of Chrysler and GM.

Thanks everyone. Just trying to learn enough about these cars so I don't look like a total idiot. (lol2) But the cars I've driven so far have been surprisingly nice.

It would be nice to stay in a place longer than a year and a half. :) And the drive is not that bad. 30 minutes up there and back. Plus I take Riverside all the way up to 42 so it's honestly a smooth, low traffic route.

total idiot as in all the other salesmen?
