The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

That what I said but not what I was able to do. I fail!

Larry, copy the link and when you paste into into the 'to' bar of your email, delete "mailto:" I'm sure this is why the email didn't go thru..ask me how I know. ;)

guess who's goodies from JDM land just came in!! WOOHOOO!!!!! sexy new rare grill and a baller new lip/splitter

cant wait to get home and start prepping them (bought the grill unpainted so ill sand down and prep it for paint)

Nice Levi! Painting them body color or OG? Might be getting a MB for the P5, will depend on price and then of course cost to paint.

^ your in Canadialand eh... oh and its not a phen curse in canada, they just dont like skinny bald headed americans, they like a big burly hairy guy to keep em warm in the middle of winter eh... lol

Hmmmm....so this is the real reason Bruce wanted to go back to the Motherland. hehe

Howdy ya'll...crazy day here and leaving soon. Quick stop at the eye dr. to get this sty checked. At least I'm hoping that's what it is, I've had it for a good month now and then off to physical therapy before a relaxing night at home.

Levi forgot to add that you have to wear either flannel or jean jacket and pants everywhere.

Oh ya and carry a hockey stick with you all the time too.

well the grill is going body color and the lip is getting a little surprise lol

and no more OG... sold the MS6's for a set of OZ Superleggera's that are actually in the process of getting painted metallic copper orange haha

They don't say hoser or aboot here. There is a lot of "Oh ya", everything is called "this guy", and they elongate the sound of "o".... Think of the movie Fargo.

Sounds good Levi and you and your surprises. lol I remember reading about the orange wheels but didn't know that was the OZs.

Have fun Chris and buy a flannel jacket...for the ladies, of course. ;)

I am not so sure about those wheels. I did some research and from what I could find they are discontinued (no biggie). I did however find them on a few sights for around $140/wheel new and this person wants $400. Besides I would want to see them on my car first. Enkei RS7's BTW. Not a bad looking wheel and only 18Lbs. I think $400 is too much but really don't know what to offer instead.

Update: I tried to copy link to my e-mail to no avail. Then I did more research and found that these may not even work on my car. I also found them on e-bay for $99 each + shipping so right around $140 each.

Oh ya. My surgery is Thursday at 11. Which is a good thing I think, starting to get a little nervous now that a date is set.

Happy B-Day!

going to O'Reilly's to get some gaskets, debating if I should do the timing belt since I'll have easy access to it when I do everything else. It's no due millage wise but the car is 8 years old.

I won't know until I get in there and start laying things out. With no air conditioning and with the battery moved out of the engine bay I have a lot more options than most for an easy routing.

Will you have to do some cutting with the bumper to get the intercooler to fit? I know they had to re-route the power steering lines and shave the bumper just a bit to make the intercooler fit.

I shouldn't have to because I have the front bumper made of tubing which is higher than the original bottom of the bumper. It should give me enough room to stay off of the plastic bumper cover.

Happy Birthday!

Mine's a 95 (was the original timing belt), but it stretched enough that around 78k it had thrown things off, it wasn't running as well and the distributor was about to melt a hole through the cap where it was sparking in the wrong place. If you do the belt, then you'll talk yourself into the water pump, too, since the WP is 100k miles. YMMV, punny...
