Got a question on the side though. Is anyone running a 17x7.5 rim with a tire size larger than 215/45/17? I'm looking at getting a set of Hankook Ventus R-S3 for SCCA, but the smallest size for 17's is 225/45/17. I didn't know it they would stick out that much further in or out to make them rub onthe suspension or fender. I figured with there being about 1/2inch gap between the tire and fender it shouldn't rub there, but I didn't know about the suspension area. The offset is on a +2mm difference, but it is .5 inches wider on the inside. Any thoughts?

Larry, my suggestion is to get springs first, then upgrade the sways after that... but hey thats just my 2 cents

I appreciate your .02, after all you know whats up with our model, right!?! The current plan is to get Speed3 front and rear sways and Speed3 springs. In fact one of the C-bus ppl has speed3 dampers and springs if my first deal goes south. I may even have a set of Cobb springs available in May from the same guy that has the sway bars. Fingers crossed that this all gets done, I am pretty pumped that I finally get to do something to my car!

I hate the Cobb springs in the front of the 3's only because they are a total b**** to install. There are fewer coils than stock so there's less room to put the spring compressors on them.

However, they do ride quite nicely, and do the job rather well. My only beef with them is from an installation standpoint.

I watched a TopGear with a GT3 RS last night, the black one with red trim and red wheels. I'm considering painting my Enkei's red. Chipmunk photoshopped them for me and they look really good. Hmmmm...

i personally hate the day... why should there a specific day to "show your love" and buy all these stupid material things when you should be showing that special person you love them everyday... no need for a ******* "special" day so that card companies and chocolate makers can boost their sales lol

I have run a set of Kumho V710"s @ 225/45/17 without issues, you should be okay....again I'm on coilovers and have rolled my fender, just out of habit.

I'll just have springs, but I plan on having my fenders folled as well. Sweet, thanks for the info. Where thoughs on 7 or 7.5 wide rims though or will that not make any difference?
