The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Ugh. I just can't get rid of the stench of transmission fluid out of the garage. haha

It's looking to be a beautiful day tomorrow! So we will be cooking out for sure. I've already got some charcoal for the grill but will run to the grocery store tomorrow afternoon when we have a head count. Maybe everyone could bring some cash to chip in?

So I might have missed it, but what time did we decide to start?

LMS always opens at 10am on the weekends. Not a minute earlier. I needs my sleeeeeeeps...

I just talked to Kevin and he's (wisely) going to wait for his endlinks to come in before swapping the suspension. But he'll still be up around 10am to fix his timing and vacuum leak and swap out his seats. I'm going to wash/wax my car, swap out my winter wheels and some other minor things and tinker with the KL so you guys are all welcome to come over anytime. :)

Sounds bueno. I think I'm gonna change my oil, the lifters don't sound very happy any more.. I think it's been about 10 months lol.

On a different note, would there be any interest in a 2011-season round of golf, or even a small tourney depending on how many people came out?

wes, you dont know how many times phen and i talked about setting up a golf outing for all us mazda peeps haha

well, you me phen, i know marlon and laurie golf, i could probably get vinh (one of the Pitt guys) to come out

its more we were just so busy last summer to ever really set something up haha

I'll probably do the coilovers next Saturday seeing as the order with my front endlinks JUST shipped; so even if i do get them tomorrow, they would probably arrive in the afternoon... which doesn't help...

but i'll be over around 10

Looks like I'm out this weekend. I'm gonna stay here and do the front suspension bushings. I just don't feel comfortable trying to drive 4 hours right after installing them.

I'm sorry Kevin, but the garage at LMS has already been reserved for a Mr. Levi Tolbert, Saturday the 20th. We would like to reschedule for a following saturday/sunday at your earliest convience. ~respectfully, Evan Lewis (President, Lewis Motorsports)

I bought some more florescent lighting for the garage and 120watt flood lights for the ceiling sockets. I just wish we had moar power outlets in the there...

I've been golfing since I was 5...and I still suck! Grandparents next door own a farm with a pasture field. Once they retired and all the cows were gone, they turned it into a driving range to kill time as old folk. I got roped in early, started golfing at 5 and working on the range around age ten. Then in high school I was going to be on the golf team, but switched last minute and played soccer, which I had played since age three.

/life story

I'm down for a round of golf anytime!
