The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

what did they do now?

you mean the divisions... why you upset?

not a fan of the division they came up with, east west just seemd to easy i guess.

supposedly everyone will play their biggest rival in the other division every year and as long as they have that as the first game of the big ten season it'll be ok. Having OSU vs. Michigan as the last game of the year would now be stupid along with any other teams playing the last weekend that aren't in the same division

they did the divisions to maintain some of the traditional rivalries and to keep it as balanced as possible... it was inevitable that to keep any kind of balance in the big ten divisions Osu and Mich would be split....

besides michigan isnt going anywhere under RichRod anyway so id hardly consider that a great rivalry anymore.... hell penn st./ohio st. has been a bigger rivalry the last 3-4 years than osu/michigan

that's the biggest rivalry in the confrence, which is probably why they split it. so cross-over games?
ohio state - michigan
illinois - northwestern
wisconson - minnesota
after that I don't know, indiana has a trophy game w/ michigan st but so does penn st.

that's because richrod is a dousche, it's bad when your rivals fans don't like you because your a d-bag instead of being their rival. he's gone after this year anyway, they might make a bowl but they won't win it

i dont even think they make a bowl game... haha

michigan is so bad now id consider them 3rd or 4th in their own division if they divisions started this year.... haha

they would be anywhere from last to 3rd at best.

paint takes for ever to dry. it's 1 minute to spray then forever till it's trully dry

Ohio St vs. Penn St last game? that could be acceptable replacement

Yeah, from what I know that is gonna cause major backlash.

if they're not in the same div, i don't want them at the end of the year. both win divison and them play again the next week, even bigger mistake

Yeah but I believe that if they were in the same division it would make the game that much more important. Only one can proceed onto the championship or anything else. Makes it an all or nothing game.

and that's why they should be in the same division

Give it a few years and no one will care about the game anymore and the rivalry and tradition will be dead. The Big Ten will lose it's biggest game and revenue from it.

tradition yes, money no, that's why they have the conference champ. game now, that'll make even more money.
