Do we have any 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 owners in this group? I have been working with Jim Daniels on the ECU of the 2010 Speed 3 and he has cracked it!!
There is still more testing being done, Dyno, etc and once we have the final results we will be offering upgrades to all owners who want the upgrade. We are estimating an additional 70 WHP, minimum.
For those who do not know Jim, he was a Mazda Factory Driver, MX-5 Cup Champion and a World Challenge rookie of the Year for Tri-Point. He current coaches a few drivers, builds Spec Miataa, Ford Mustang Challenge cars and more.
He is extremely knowledgeable and has invested a great deoal of time and money in this project.
how would you know if a motor mount is going bad? i'm starting to hear squeaking when i shift and today i down shifted and my car made a loud thud sound when on got on the gas (pedal about 1/2 way or a little more)
I had to unsubscribe to that slammed thread. Those cats are hopeless... But that crap is spreading.
I wouod love to see the slammed crowd come to Mid-Ohio and see how well their cars would handle at the track. Maybe I am becoming senile, I just don't get it, it has no benefit from a performance standpoint, it is not like these guys are winning major awards at carshows, etc.
It is like a remake of Dumb and Dumber with no end in sight!!!
have any of you actually read the thread in the last day or so now that the measurements are coming up... they arent as "slammed" as you would have thought... the average height on the pinch welds seems to be around 3.8-4" (front) 4.25-4.5" (rear) (excluding dub's miata that thing is SLAMMED)
i dunno about you guys but i wouldnt consider that "slammed".... i mean its low but not "slammed"
its all the illusion the guys use with lips and sideskirts....
you tell a vdub guy your pinchwelds are 4" from the ground and they will laugh in your face and ask if its a joke....
