we've been very happy with our hp and compaq laptops...

mines a refurb compaq presario...hard drive died after a month of getting it, but it was still in warranty...after microcenter fixed it, i've had no issues and i've had it from almost 3 years

sean had a refurb hp something...one of the fancier ones with loud speakers and large screen...it was nice and he just recently got a new version of the same computer after he broke the refurb one...we've had no complaints

It wasn't in the slammed thread. Different forum completely.

Let's just say that those guys don't like our forum. Several people here don't like their forum. And right now it's peaceful.

Views and beliefs are quite different and if you're not with them, then issues arise.

i have wanted to go into the slammed thread and call them all out, but decided against it.

yeah everything is peaceful now and I just frequent the other forums to check classifieds.

I made a comment that I regret, and it was blown up by others and I was insulted pretty severely....kind of funny actually, thinking that words by some unknown over the internet were going to hurt me....

Anywho- I just went for a hike at Munroe Falls Park and a lady stopped me at the gate to charge me $4.
I asked "For what?"
She replied "The park."
I said "Oh, we're just going hiking."
She stated "Okay, it's $4 for adults."
Baffled, I said "Seriously?"
To which she replied "Yes."
Then I calmly asked "Seriously? ... Seriously? .... Seriously?"

So we went to Akrons park instead. So glad I give the park system money so they can charge me to go hiking...(no)

wow that's the first i've ever heard of that. I can't figure out what's worse the fact that they are funded with taxes and still charge 4 bucks or that they pay someone to sit there and ask for 4 bucks

^^^ Exactly! I mean, I live in Munroe Falls so I'm sure they're getting their cash AND I donate money every year from my tax return to the park services. I was shocked when she said "$4 for adults"... Okay, I'm done ranting.
