The point is that I'm bored because I'm doing something I don't want to do, not enjoying it, knowing full well there are other things I'd rather be doing, and I don't hate myself enough to force myself to do things I don't enjoy doing. (boom08)

Huh. That's one way to say it. Hahaha.
That's why I like biking. At least I'm outdoors, scenery change, etc. Sure, it doesn't do as much as circuit training, but if I'm hitting up a difficult off-road trail, I'm busting my ass pretty well to keep a good pace since I ride a single speed.
Yeah... I don't go mountain biking nearly enough for it to make a big difference. That is somewhat my fault, but based on previous injuries... I'm nervous to go alone.
I've been doing more road biking than anything else. I do enjoy that quite a bit.
When I lived up that way I enjoyed the bike n hike paths a lot. It gets you out in nature while keeping it an easy ride.
I was born with asthma. It makes most running activities not all that much fun. Biking is one of them that keeps that to a minimum which is why I did it. Isn't anywhere to ride around here.
I prefer swimming as a workout. It's a full body type of workout and uses muscles you aren't normally using. That and even if I am not pushing it and going at a leisurely pace, I'm still doing a lot.
Although for a strength training type of workout, I find that the P90x system works wonderfully. (If you follow the program though.)

Go out on the road and from a dead stop, try to start off in a high gear. If the clutch is slipping, you won't stall.
I've heard really good things about the p90x system. It's very similar to circuit training from what I've heard/read about it. I've also heard it's not for the faint of heart, lol. I know several people who have bought it, tried it a few times and said, F that! lol

OMG these hellaflush fags* make me want to take a brick to my forhead!
I've never read so much ignorant bulls*** in my life! It's okay though. I'll take my vehicle, which is perfectly capable on the street and on the track, while looking good in my own opinion (which is all that matters, right?) as well as the ability to own/carry a firearm and ability to own a vehicle with zero emissions equipment and keep my ass planted in SW Ohio.
Seriously, all those other idiots almost make me want to start a thread, which would almost certainly end in my being banned...
