The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I have taken that class a couple times... mandatory in order to get my license back. The class is not bad however it is roughly 8 hours of sitting in a room watching instructional video after video after video after video.... stay awake.... after video. It is not a fun time and feels like it lasts forever but it really is no sweat.

I doubt that you will tell me, but what did you do to loose your license???

I lost my license due to 12 point violations twice in two years. In order to get the license reinstated I had to take the class.

as far as i know the citation stays but the points do not

Don't they do hearings out here? In PA, when I needed to get several points taken off, I went in front of the local magistrate.

The last time I went in front of a Magistrate to defend a case I was literally laughed at by the magistrate and while laughing charged me more for coming into court than the ticket was worth. I got a parking ticket for parking where the police told me to park and I was in the middle of 20+ cars, none of which got tickets. Just mine.. right in the middle..

Well... the EECMM crowd strikes again and gives me yet another reason to boycott the event. A great idea such as the traveling Mazda flag got ruined by some immature ****.

yeah its pretty sad... BUT atleast we can see its the fucktards from EECMM that did it and that will only reflect/look bad on them (atleast thats what i hope)

Fingers crossed. I just want to ask some people (*cough* Brandon and Michelle *cough*) if they're just looking for reasons to make me not ever want to go.

oh that is so lame...people seriously need to grow up

Agreed. I mean... we have our immature fun from time to time, but it doesn't ruin something as cool as the thought of a traveling flag and having people sign it.

Someone should be able to change that into something else, maybe? Like people do when they get a cock tattoo while blacked out drunk. I'm pretty bad at drawing, tho. I can't even color in the lines! (lol2)

That's too bad cause that is a great idea. maybe next year we can do a travleing grand-am flag at the races for all the members that go to the corrals

I just wanted to give a hello to my fellow ohio mazda owners. I hate this weather. No top down for me :-(

Question for you guys. So, I got a speeding ticket a couple weeks ago. it was 100% my fault (aka stupidity) for not paying attention and cruising in the fast lane down I-71, lol. But anyways, I had 0 pts on my license, and would like to keep it that way for insurance purposes, so I want to take one of those defensive driving classes to nullify the 2 pts.

I've never done this before, so I wasn't sure how it worked. After I take the class, will the citation still appear on my record for 2 years (so if a cop ran my license he would see the citation), or does it completely erase it? I feel like it would be too good to be true if it totally washed the citation away, which is why I ask. I like the feeling of knowing that if a cop wants to run my plates, it comes back clean as a whistle. ;)

Any of you guys ever taken one of these classes before? Thanks in advance!

i believe the citation will always be there.

and i cannot believe they put that on the flag. immature bastards.

looks like you could maybe make the balls into some sort of mazda M if you tried.

Ideas have been tossed around on cleaning it. Hopefully it works.
