The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

There's a Swenson's about a mile from my place here. I've been on many runs for Peanut Butter milkshakes for preggers. lulz

Definitely a good weather location though...

I'll check Leipolds and the Conrads on Triplett. I wasn't happy with my alignment from Conrads, so I am leery of that. Leipolds sounds good, but that is expensive! I was hoping no more than $100... I might chuck the TPMS sensors, then--actually could sell them and make money off the deal! Hmmm.

I've got a buddy who works at a Parrish-McIntyre Goodyear tire center. Might contact him. Or I am going to see how far away WhiteWheel is from my work and go get a quote from them. Thanks guys!

The Firestone near my place did a good job with the Blizzaks, total was around $85. I was planning on using them again when I get the summer tires, I was considering the same ones you got

Epic Swensons pic is EPIC!!! Wow.

$25/wheel to mount & balance?! Guess I'm glad I know someone who works at a shop. I mounted/dismounted those blizzaks quite a few times within a month and spent around $40 total ...Lol

Edit: I still want to buy a tire machine but they are so expensive!! I have a manual one but I have to get something for it so it won't scratch the s*** outta my wheels :/

Trololol

I remember not too long before that day, gas was at an all time high of $4.00 a gallon.

Everyone wants to blame Obama.

Exactly. I laugh when people complain about ANYTHING in this country. Like....take your cry baby, I know everything about politics and I could run the country better than our president, ass and go live in some third world country then if you don't like what's going on in this one. Worry about bombings and war, sickness, poverty, crazy laws, all kinds of WTF.

I can't run until the 2016 election so I can't say I'd be a better president yet

People have at max, a 4 year memory. Gas was higher than this before until the floor dropped out of everything. The only thing the gas prices are doing are influencing me to drive the Civic more this summer than the other two gas hogs.

While I agree you can't assign blame to one person his unwillingness to support domestic drilling or the construction of the US-Canada pipeline certainly isn't helping. While I fully support taking the government out of our daily lives, oil prices need to be regulated and all this speculation crap needs to end. I know many, many people that could not function/perform their jobs if gas was no longer affordable (i.e. can't live without it). Much like how there isn't sales tax on food. Also, the next time someone tries to blame oil companies for the price of gas tell them to look at how much of what they're paying is due to state and federal taxes...

as much as i'd like to...we are not supposed to talk about politics on the forums.
This.

Locally gas may have been higher but I'm pretty sure the national average is now at an all-time high. I'm paying $3.79 for regular now in SW OH, whereas back in 2008 when prices first went up I was paying $3.65 for premium in SW VA.

Whatever man, that's just a tax on the oil companies, everyone knows that!

"Some say he is the only storm trooper to hit Luke Skywalker"

"Some say he crashed a Reliant Robin, broke his leg and petrol spilled out." (Which the episodes with the Reliant Robbin are probably the funniest TG episodes ever by the way)

If you're on twitter you gotta follow @stigquotes
