It's a new belt, it only wants to squeak around the 1500 - 2500 rpm range

I never resolved my squeal (with new Gates Brand belts) over 4 months of adjustments so I had the dealer replace them when they did the timing belt. HAVE NOT HEARD A SINGLE NOISE. These GD Mazda's are querky!!!
what kinda belts did the dealer put on? I'm running a gates belt so maybe it's something with them?
another problem, maybe to solve at the cookout, the boost gauge will stay lit after the car is off unless I pull a fuse for it

yeah my damn front suspension was clunking, turned my front endlinks less than a quarter of a turn and the clunk disappeared... its quite annoying sometimes

I can't stand the windows down on the highway as well. All that wind and road noise/noise from other cars gets to me too. I was trying to hold off on turning the A/C on for MPG sake, but it was way too hot for that. It only knocked 3 off...still got 33 on that trip.

Depending on the speed, I've been known to get better mileage running that A/C in my P5. 72 mph, cruise control, A/C, and I'd pull consistent 35's on my way to Maryland.
But yeah, I need to take you for a ride in the Miata with the top up. I had to put it up while driving last night because of the rain, and I had a hard time hearing my headphones...

Speaking of not working...my damn hard drive took a s*** on me again. 1st/original one lasted 4 years, which the repair guy said was rare. The new one lasted 4 months!? I don't know if I want to wait for some long warranty process through Seagate, or just buy a new one again. Should've just bought a new laptop the first time...now I have a ton of money in this outdated piece.
