Thanks for the pics Marlon, after discussing it with Phen that's how my routing will be.
New classes start tomorrow, excited in a can't wait to get this over with kinda way.
If you make it to the cook out you can see the whole set up in person.
A lot of people will talk s*** about the P5 and the FS-DE motor (same motor in the MSP and MP3 too), but if it's been well taken car of and has had it's regular maintanence they will last a long time. I've got 130k miles and it still performs well. But coming from Hondas, I expected more from a 2.0l motor. But I still love it nonetheless. I've got a V6 in the garage for it in the summer. muahaha.![]()
Josue, no harm in asking, mate. I'll give you a ride for sure. I'm not hip to people driving my car, only a handful of people have driven it but since you're looking to buy one perhaps I'll let you. Not that it's an expensive or amazing car, just that it's my baby. haha
Eh, you can end up with that FS burning oil at 70k miles, too... I guess it depends on what you want. I wouldn't buy a car with an FS, personally. MPG's are alright, but there's better stuff. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. If you just need 4 doors and MPGs, I'd rather go with an older Protege with the BP. If you just need MPGs, I'd get a Miata with either the 1.6 or 1.8, they're both great. If you need a wagon and need it cheap, I would say get another make, maybe a Saturn SW2 or something. It sure as heck won't be fun, but they're pretty reliable and won't rust (on the outside at least). I dunno, I'm kinda biased because my motor sucks. I'm biased to older cars that are light weight, too. If you want a 4 door car that handles awesome (IMO) and has a bit of power, I'd say a V6 626, with some suspension mods. They're cheap enough that you can fit it into the budget to replace blown shocks, or whatever.
This could be an endless debate. But I wouldn't buy a Saturn. I don't think I've seen a Saturn with more than 70k miles that doesn't run like it's on it's last leg.
I'm the type of guy who has to have vehicles that are aesthetically pleasing to me, as are most on an enthusiasts website such as this one.
Nate, here are pics of of my FMIC set up
Nate, if you need some more pictures I can post mine later tonight. I ran a similar route (but cutting was required) and just finished last night.
Check the first page. All info is there.
