The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Of course maybe peeling off the plasti dip to find the boobies was Evan's hobby until he found the mx-6

You guys are mean... :(

So you're not confirming or denying...

It's very simple. Just like spray painting wheels. Clean them really well and wipe them down with alcohol or brake cleaner. Use some playing cards, 3x5 cards or Vegas stripper cards (below) to mask off the tires. And go to town. I've heard thick coats is the way to go so it's easier to peel off, but I've never attempted to remove dip yet.

Do you have a warm area to paint them? I think the paint needs to be around 60degrees or above.

This is the only Will Dodd approved way to paint wheels.

If you paint your wheels this way you need to total the car 2 days later. It's the rules.

What's everyone's plans this weekend?

Have a b-day party Saturday, No kids Sunday, but not sure what house project we're gonna try to tackle.

My b-day was Tuesday, is it just me or after 21 a birthday is just another day but you get a couple free things?

Happy Birthday to all!
I will be wrenching on Chris's 88 RX-7 on Saturday and may have to work on Sunday.

Got our new LG washer and dryer delivered and hooked up. They are so nice and quiet. I love it. Working the rest of the weekend. Hanging out with my BiL tomorrow night though. Haven't hung out with him in a long time.

Looking at a car for Jessie and attempting to remove paint from a set of wheels I bought. Also will be modifying the safety devices in the Miata (seat belts and steering column plate) since the steering wheel was replaced with a non-airbag one. Also going to try to figure out a way to wire up the horn without the clock spring. Maybe snoball rally on Sunday.

Good morning everyone!
How was everyone's weekend?
My heat is out right now for whatever reason and it's cold as hell in here. Dunno where to start seeing as everything is electric in the house, no gas.
