It's an ok entry level DSLR. Lens is the stock, nothing fancy packaged lens. Depending on the number of pictures taken, I would expect to pay about 250, considering it is an outdated model and the D3200 have come way down in price.

I'm also a Canon fan, so I would personally pass on the Nikon.

FYI, Canon will accept and run many older higher end Leica lens' without adapters. My inlaws have a few, and man is that glass nice.

Looks like a normal asking price for that camera.

DP Review is a great site for all camera reviews.

Thanks, time do do some reading and see if he comes down anymore.

Finally ordered my brakes pads (Hawk HPS Street from Tire Rack) & rotors (Napa Blanks), Grinding came back so hopefully I can get that done on Thursday night. Amber's A/C only works on full blast now so we are taking the wagon on the family vacation instead. I get to re-teach Amber how to drive a stick, she hasn't driven one since we were dating and I let her try in the MSP.

what is your plan to do? spare motor? Is it already out and at the machine shop?

Well we believe the rod bearings are toasted so the plan is to just replace those and run it again while I save up for a rebuild. All the money I did have was spent buying the car so the money to do a full rebuild right now just isn't in the cards...

gotcha. The motor I have for the ms3 spun a bearing and the crank is going to need to be machined to take the imperfections out. That was the reason I asked

Well if there's an issue with the crank then it will sit and likely won't be seen again for a couple years til I have the money to rebuild it... A lot of other things to deal with that are more important than getting the second car on the road again....

Is it a 2 part block that you have to remove the engine from the car to take out the crank, or is it crank caps? I don't now off the top of my head, but if it's just caps, you can pull the crank for cheap machining and get oversized bearings.

Dat slammed lyfe, yO.

I honestly don't know... It happened a week after I bought the car and since buying the car I'm averaging 55-60 hours a week at work, and then the little bit of free time I do have is spent doing yard/house work... (Joys of being single and owning a home)
I just haven't had any time to do any research on miatas. I'm just as Unknowledgeable now as the day I bought the car :/

Wtf were they thinking? There are maybe a dozen or so speed bumps in all of Russia and these ass wipes decide to go for a cruise to find some of them.

Transmissions can be rebuilt pretty easily. SM guys do it all the time.

He would need a new computer to go with that 1.8 because it is from an NA. Probably some other differences as well.

Don't forget he has the Hydra still. But yeah, some things would have to be changed / brought up to newer stuff.

A fun pic for you guys. I snapped this at Watkins Glen last weekend. It's been rather well received so far. Enough that Randy Pobst emailed me yesterday and asked for permission to share it.

That is a great photo, takes a lot of luck to get a shot like that haha.

You aren't kidding! I have a handful of luck shots like that, and it could make you think that I've been really lucky. Truth is, I take A LOT of pics. Watkins Glen was a relaxed weekend and I took around 800. Previous Lime Rock weekends weigh in at 2400 shots or so.
