The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Well as you can see by the link that V posted the MS3 has been lowered! Thanks to, V, Marc, Evan #1 and Jake! The Tri-point RSB and endlinks have improved the handling a great deal, really pushed exiting 77N at Pleasant Valley. The car feels really solid, and the Yellowspeed's aren't too bad, will do a more comprehensive review after more spirited driving.

Bwahahaha!

Thanks again to Marc for letting us use the lift and his garage.

The fail is strong with me today. Was heading up to the steelyard for work today and merging onto 77, the boost tube on the cold side pops off the throttle body and im standing on the side of 77 getting it back on with a flathead screwdriver and some muscle. Get to an autozone, get a socket and tightened everthing down. Then on the way home, it popped off again in the valley. Anthony saw me pulled over fixing it again on the side of the road. This time it popped off under no boost.

One of three possibilites:

-SU boost tube is terrible
-all three clamps ive tried are failing
-SU TMIC having a broken tab is causing it to rock back and forth and loosen things up.

Thankfully Patrick still has his stock components, so ill have to swap out before the meet tomorrow.

It's SU, so there ain't no telling how many of those things are actually wrong with it.

No kidding. I dunno how the hell they could mess up a silicone tube. But its popped of 5-6 times in the last few weeks, ans the clamps arent getting any looser.

Try putting some hair-spray on the outlets / inlets, then put the hose & clamps on.

Anthony suggested that when he saw me the 2nd time. Just bought another set of clamps to rule that out and and ganked my lil sisters hairspray. Hopefully it works at least for tonight. I have some work to get done still

Fun times today installing the coilovers. Here's a link to some pictures I took:

Whoever owns that White Speed3 which I think is The Sumlins, I will take it off your hands anyday. That thing is sweet looking.

But on a different note I washed my baby today for the first time in like a year. I know I am a terrible owner but anyway, I can not believe how jacked up my paint job and the car actually looks. It actually kinda depressed me seeing it that bad. But I guess it can't stay nice forever as a daily driver.

Huh... Wish I knew about the install today. I would have come out and visited for a few. I needed a sanity break earlier today.

Good pics! Wish we could've been there but OT pay check will be nice. I was able to sell some stuff too so not a bad day.

I can't believe I haven't been pulled over inthe last 2 days of driving the MSP with an open down pipe. SOB is freaking loud! Hopefully the exhaust will be welded on by tomorrow.
