The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

^Nice

Evan when you did your wire harness did you start from the back and go to the ends or split offs or from the plugs down the harness to the firewall. Also, what was the stuff that you bought to wrap them in. I started doing a little wire tuck on the MSP engine bay :)

Well I pulled all the harnesses out completely and started from there. Are you just snipping the wires you're no longer using? If that's the case, just snip them and use some liquid electrical tape on the ends. Pulling the whole wiring harness out is a pain.

oh- And this is the TechFlex everyone raves about. I'm probably just going to stick with plastic wiring loom since it protects the wiring from water/oil/elements. The TechFlex looks nicer but doesn't protect anything.

I do like owthe TecFlex looks, but I would rather have it protected just in case of water or a zoom-zoom-boom.

BOOO Just go with the TechFlex, even I have some. lol

I'm undecided right now. It really doesn't matter because your only going to see about 1 foot of it. I still have to take the smaller harness back to the brake booster and seperate the ground wires. Are thoughs ground unit packages worth it or just run them where they are at? Also I'm undecided about Nology Hotwires? Are they really worth it or more for show?

After I decide on that I can start looming them back up and be done with that and move on to the next thing on the list.

tried a new fuel pump...still won't start. I'm done with it until sometime next year, when I take it back to stock and maybe get lucky and find the issue.

I've got 10' of three different sizes if you a section, Corey. I'll just bring it when I see you next.

Nate, that sucks. Were you getting spark?

:( Coil packs are next.

Looks like I need a new gas cap for my car. Tightened last night and drove three miles before it went out. Still having trouble trying to find a clutch pedal spring since the only way to get one is to buy the entire pedal assembly. :(

Might just pull the plugs and take a look, not sure why I didn't think about that yet.

How many are required for a full exhaust, 4?

Corksport does all the work for you, You just have to add to cart: http://www.corksport.com/corksport-urethane-exhaust-hangars-for-protege.html

I practiced some serious self control this weekend, kept myself from buying a new TV and a cordless impact drill... if anyone needs\wants one, sears has them on sale for $99 (the drill, not the TV although those are also on sale)

I've been looking at cordless impacts for a few weeks now. I might have to jump on that Sears deal. Is this Craftsman impact (LINK) the $99 one you're talking about?

My car was loud, but not unbearable (right Phen?) I'm half deaf though, so I guess I'm biased :)

Eventually I'll finish the exhaust on the MSM, enthuza XR still sounds good to me :)

It wasn't horrible. Louder than I would want for a DD, but the drive down to Daytona wasn't bad.
