The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I need to finish up my pictures and get them posted!0

Oh, and my buddy texts me today: "Just saw Sahlen's hauler heading towards PA. Any idea where they are going?" I respond: "They are racing an RX-7 in a 25 hour chumpcar race." He responds: "Funny they are hauling it in a gigantic hauler when most people are probably just towing it."

Nope. I was up there tonight. Haulers everywhere. One guy wadded up an E30 in practice today really bad. Rolled it at a pretty good speed. Dropped two off, went sideways and caught the access road while sideways at probably around 100. Did a couple end overs. I'll try to snap some pics of it tomorrow. It's about as long as Jess' Smart Car now.

Reasons to drive the Prism at 2:20am and not the MSP
-Because not race car
-Cops love the MSP
-MSP in the early morning is a DUI suspect
-It's silent
-I usually don't go over the speed limit in it
-Doesn't attract attention (bingo)

Good Times!

Damn. That's kinda scary considering I go out there w/o a cage lol.

Lulz, Kevin. "Fast"? Good luck with the sale though, mate! I asked a couple friends but we all have e-check up here and they don't know jack about cars.

Phen I saw your ChumpCar pictures on FB, some pretty awesome looking rides. I particularly like the ride with snoopy on the roof.

Yeah dude. There was some neat s*** there. OMFG it was cold too. I ended up taking about 1300 pics on Saturday. Unfortunately, the car that I was assisting with at times went out kinda early. It did a General Lee style launch after an assisted off track excursion. It came down so hard that it pushed the radiator into the crank pulley. Swapped the radiator, back out it went. After a couple hours, the radiator bounced around and hit the crank pulley again. Radiator #2 gone. Unfortunately, it was a slow leak and it eventually overheated and cooked the head gasket.

25 hours, 25 minutes, 25 seconds.

This guy was leading before I left. I was there for about 10 hours of it.
