installing new fans @ Phen's on Saturday..........as well as a new gasket for the turbo inlet......

Thinking about running Toledo next weekend. Get some G-Street action.

I see that Eric Heller just made an update about NORA's events this year. Looks like they'll be running again. Should be no shortage of events... until they schedule the same weekends.

Quote the post here if you don't mind so I, and others, don't have to find it.

Beginning in May, we will be starting our events. I will have lots more details to add during this week but I will briefly cover the main topics real quick.
We have a green light to use Akron Airport in front of the old terminal building. However the big issue we are having is Akron has a very short window of time that they allow "outside" events. Basically June -Aug. We also need to setup up "big" events to run there. I am talking to other car clubs and looking at the idea of a car show on Sat. and AutoX on Sun.
We did take a long look at the suggestion of doing the AutoX short track series using Lorain, Lake, and Barberton Speedways. But both Lake and Barberton where considered to be too dangerous and too small and with the concrete walls and past history at both places thast resulted in a number of cars being totaled, we decided against it. However, Lorain is much bigger and easier to setup various courses, so we will use them once per month.
Starbucks is will support our Ralley program and we will begin that again with it rolled into the "Cars and Coffee" format. Again, we are getting several other car clubs on board along with our area exotic car dealers that will also help promote it. Ralleys will be much smaller in size and mostly concentrating on just a nice Sunday morning drive and hanging out with like minded people with an interest in cars. We will probably try to highlight a specific car manufacture for each event.
So we will have at least one AutoX event a month at Lorain. We are planning on car shows and Autox's at Akron Airport during June-Aug. We will also have our Cars and Coffee Drive once a month too.
With regards to pricing and membership, I will talk to our membership chief and make sure that everyone that was a member our last event season will receive the renewal price. However, because these autox events will not be that same size as the huge lot we used to use at Geauga Lake, we will reduce our autox fees. I do not feel that it is fair to charge premium price for both memberships and autoxcross events when we will be using less than premium locations.
Finally, we will also be working with Corvette Tim at Crooked River helping him with his events that he will going and also our special events that we have out at Summit Motorsports Park later this summer.

Thank you. :)

Lorain County Speedway is literally 5 minutes from my house. So that might be awesome. I'm never been there so I have no idea what the place is like.

Thanks Turtle. I'm limited to what I can do on work computer so I wouldn't be able to get that easily.

Man, wish I could go. I've gotta do these control logics and they have a ridiculously aggressive release date (April 30)

I'm out for tomorrow, the windshield place had the wrong size windshield. They have to ship one from AZ. it should be here next week.
