The Ohio Auto-X and Track Event chat thread

They we claiming it was because the Lakeland CC wi-fi didn't reach out into the parking lot and they had to use 4g mobile hotspot on a phone. The person also didn't seem to be very computer-literate lol.

I think they're still figuring out how to operate the system. But they really do need to get people to pre-register.

Perhaps more than one computer would help too. Don't we have some computer network experts in here that can help.

If they need any help with anything non-computer I'll help out too. He's a nice guy and I like his events. :)

I pulled a retarded move and thought I would try out the 225 Rcomps in the front and street tires in the rear. The car was so umcontrollable. It felt like I was driving a rwd car in the rain around the turns. Spun on my first 2 runs. The second on I did a 540* @ close to 50mph. Then I rotated the rcomps to the rear thinking I would rather push than spin out of control. The car had no rotation and pushed like a dump truck. On top of that my afrs were all over the place and was hitting fuel cut. Lesson learned. Now I need to figure out how to get the car tuned or just take off the ssafc until I can afford to take it in to get it tuned. I really don't feel like breaking anything. Plus the awr coilovers are taking a beating on the roads around here. Almost tempted to put the tokicos back on before my inserts are blown. Not a great weekend.

lol i thought he said something. but jenky doesnt excues a 6 second lead.... bahahaha.

I'm sure that 6 second lead will shrink like a wang in cold water once Corey gets some better tires on his car.

lol you guys gotta catch on by now... i know corey is a better driver than me be we always compete and i love giving him a hard time over it. its never bragging lol.

Oh I looooove watching you two internet fight. It's hilarious. :)

Aww, remember when we used to fight like that too, Phen? Good times. You dick.

if anyone is looking for cheap autox tires here ya go. idk about condition though http://cleveland.craigslist.org/ptd/3930058403.html

Here's my story about that cat who runs that place. Josh was looking for some decent tires for a track day when he had his P5. We went up there and they sleezy dude there was trying to sell him some all seasons in a narrower size than he already had on the P5, I think 205/45-16. I was looking at some summer tires for my P5 too but it was like he couldn't be bothered. He even had a used Momo racing seat for sale but wouldn't give me a price. We just got a bad vibe from that guy so we walked away. Then a month later Ivan tells me about this set of tires he bought for Cara's car from that same cat. Said he was super nice, gave him a great deal and would highly recommend him. So go figure. He does have a ton of good, used tires at good prices. But maybe he is just bi-polar.
