The Ohio Auto-X and Track Event chat thread

I forgot to mention this, but I figured out why I felt like my Nitto NT01 tires had way less grip after the first run Sunday. All 4 tires are starting to show the cords LOL.

Very nice. Metal does tend to be less grippy than the rubber.

Damn, first a bad cv boot now you find corded tires. Stop looking at stuff on your car or you will never have any extra cash!

I need a good tune now. My 1st 02sensor went bad causing the afrs to go speratic and now that I replaced the 02sensor the car runs around 14.8-15 when sitting at idle 10-12 under boost and 16-17 when cruising. WTH?

The idle and boost afrs look fine, the cruising afr is a bit high but I've heard of people actually tuning their AFRs that high while cruising to get better MPG.

Let me see what we have in stock young man

Thank you sir! If you don't have anything in 18" and you have something in 17" (Hoosiers, other slicks, or r-compound tires), I may be interested. I've wanted 17x8 wheels for my track wheels for a while now, so maybe now is the time to go that route.

I do have a set of Hoosiers that are 235/40/17 for sure......

I still haven't seen the results for the NEOhio SCCA event on Sunday. Anyone else see them?
