I'm brand new here, as I just bought an '02 P5 last week that I plan on working on.
I've been loving every second I've had with it, and hope to show you guys my gradual progression with it!
Early mods include front strut bar, tint (limo grade for the rears), and yellow foglight bulbs (I plan on changing it to yellow film instead).
I've also grown accustomed to some of the popular marketplaces for P5's (ProtegeGarage, Corksport, etc.) and am now waiting on an AEM intake to arrive.
I'd love any support - thanks!

You should buy my fogs and put your yellow overlays on them. EXTRA YELLOW FTW! These fogs are way better than the stock ones anyways

Black on Yellow
Black MP5 representn! I dont have to black out anything cause the lights and chrome contrast so nicely!
I am jealous though cause I wanted a yellow 5 but couldnt resist the price of this black one when I got it. Wish I had the money for the mods like that but replacing all of the lights and gas has sucked up all my extra money.
I like the roof rack, just not on the car all the time. I drive lots of interstate miles and the drag is too much. I do like racks though if you know what I mean.
I noticed earlier on this thread that even you yellers have problems with people seeing you. Now imagine if your car was black. Thats why I keep all my lights on when I drive so they have no excuse for hitting me. Been lucky so far (~ 2 years and over 40000 miles already) with no accidents. But just yesterday I almost had a semi run me off the road. The dang bastard passed me on the interstate, slowed down, then forgot I was next to him. Luckily I was watching closely, ( You have to with a small car) cause he decided to merge into my lane with me in it. So I rode on the shoulder for a while and held the horn down (which I'm pretty sure he couldnt hear cause its so weak, speaking of which I want to get a big ass horn for it) Then I got behind him, swerved left and around him and proceeded to give him a piece of my mind and wondering where all of those troopers who are usually there were today. (the semi was doing more than 70, since I was doing 70, and their speed limit is 55 here)
Ive also had this problem with numerous ladies in their big suvs on their cell phones.
I also just rolled 80000 the other day! Whats everybody else at?

Nice black P5.I have LOTS of issues with people not seeing my car. You'd think as bright as my car is...It wouldn't be an issue but it is. I drive with the lights on whenever there's traffic because they never see me. I had a guy barely side swipe me about two weeks ago. Got over in my lane not seeing me there. His wheel barely popped my front passenger fender leaving a scuff & a chip...Thank God! I was so scared he was going to hit me hard. He then proceeded to drive off while I gathered myself. He had no tag either. >)
I know I am well above 100k...Just don't remember my mileage since I always keep it on the trip mileage. (doh) I had 73k on it when I bought it in April 2006.
