yea man nextel owns...i never have problems with my service around jersey really...and direct connect is absolutely amazing..I talk to my uncle in va beach all the teach clear as a bell...a friend was in florida for spring break, and she would 2way me while on the beach in miami, clear as if she was next door...amazing

I've had 'em all. Cingular, Sprint, Nextel, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc., etc., now I'm back with sprint only cause they have the phone i wanted. Nextel's walkie talkie wasn't neccessary, just another feature I didn't want anymore. Now I'm loving my picture and video phone. But I sure wish I was on a GSM network and not CDMA.

Same phone here!I pay $20 more a month for my Nextel service than my Sprint and get 4 times the minutes plus unlimited direct connect.I like the direct connect but there Phone quality and clarity is not on par with sprints.

Okay after switching from a GSM phone to this CDMA phone, Toshiba VM4050(the best freakin screen ever) I remembered why I left sprint. CDMA phones suck, reception wise. So now I just placed an order at AT&T for a motorola v600. No screen compared to the toshibas, but it's still pretty nice.

Anyone have a v600.

LG PM-325 - only got it so i could get a bluetooth headset. i feel like a dork wearing that headset out in public, so i only use it in the car.

sprint is the only carrier that works in my neighborhood. none of my cingular, verizon, nextel friends can get a signal. i've been wanting to switch away from sprint, but if i can't get a signal at home, there's no point.
