The Moderately Low (Not Slammed) and Functional Thread

Yeah, I hear ya on that. I know what you mean. But, one thing you should know about me is that I could give 2 s**** what anyone thinks about my car. As long as I like it, I'm happy. I agree with you, a lot of Miatas have them... one reason it's so hard to find them... but I would be using them for Auto-X and track events so a light weight, wider and smaller diameter wheel which has a variety of tire size options (especially in R-comps) is a win-win for me.

You embody this thread, thank you!

Word. I know they're definitely not the wheel for you guys. I think there was a pic of a red car with bronzes on it. I'll have to check. If I do get them, it won't be until I get back from China. And then, I have to make a choice... wheels or suspension.

suspension!!! i think the 5zigens will hold their own for a while til you get the dough for new wheels

I'd agree. I can't stand body roll, and better suspension will give you more grip in the corners even with the same tires. Although you might have to turn the boost down.. But I know that won't happen.

I actually really like the way the fiveziggens look on the MSM, Phen. You should mos def get that JIC setup when you get back. Then you can actually post a pic of Lindsay in here!

I did turn the boost down. Down from 14 to 12. Haha. But why should I turn it down? My goal is to get rid of those old ass Paradas in the best way I know with that car.

Shhhhh!!! Thou shalt not speaketh of my suspension plans! Haha.

Well...not entirely a secret, just I haven't told anyone yet. Haha.

definitely on board with this thread! love the look of slammed cars and form>function stuff but function comes first for me. especially considering i've started taking my car to the track. i'm lowered on H&R coilovers and currently running two wheel/tire setups.

Nothing best than run on a track :)

yup, i'm totally hooked! it's ridiculously fun. headed down to laguna seca on the 27th.
i'm happy with the suspension setup, coilovers and 32mm rear sway. but still working with the wheel/tire setup. gonna run the halos with bridgestone potenza re-o1r in 225/45 this time. if sticky 225s seem like enough tire i might end up putting some on the old MX-5s since they only weigh 17lbs.

Huh... yeah... that's...umm... pretty nice. LOL. I'm digging it. Especially the PRHT. Makes me want one. Keep up the good work!
