The Mazda Museum Tour!

- If the new 3 looked like the 2nd pic I might want one.
- 67 Cosmo makes me think old Maserati.
- Mitsubishi diamonds under Mazda on the green motorcycle?
- Truck trike just bizarre.
- 69 Luce makes me think BMW 2002.
- RX8 drivetrain, right?
- What up with crashed RX8?
- Nice breakdown of rotary.
- What up with all the letters/strips under the rotary piece?
- Rest of Ryuga pics?
- No P5 on the timeline wall thing = FAIL!(unamused)

Thanks for sharing, interesting stuff.

no FB's or FC's..... missing a big chunk of history there. First RX7 and first Turbo RX7 (maybe first production turbo rotary)

- 69 Luce makes me think BMW 2002.

Funny you mention that, we had a conversation not one week ago in the Vintage BMW club I'm in about how the first gen Luce sedans looked uncannily like the 2500/3.0S:

I want that 1963 Gold Mazda...

And where's the love for the Protege? Saw that sweet convertible Familia but on the timeline, not even a picture of Mazda's first production Speed vehicle...

:(

SUBBIN!

There could be an entirely different section for racing and Mazdaspeed in the museum. Mazda is the biggest manufacturer used in grassroots racing, so ya never know. Want more pics of this place!!!

Awesome pics bro! I so want to visit someday.

I believe what they were showing with the crashed RX-8 is its ability to withstand a heavy impact while keeping passengers safe. The structural design of the 8 is truly amazing. For instance the hood is aluminum and underneath it has a dimple structure which deforms for a softer impact in the event of a pedestrian accident.
