The long awaited summer road trip photo album

my school? not at all really. the dorms got a little water (a foot or two) and the apartments where i lived were damaged bad. but the school didnt get much at all. just some windows here and there, we coulda reopened a lot sooner, but there was no way to get to the school (11-15ft of water all around it).
do you know when shes going back (if she is going back)...we start school jan 30th

She decided not to go back as far as I know. Like I said, she's diggin Tulsa, so she's probably just gonna stay up there.

Is this the trip from Alabama or Arkansas to the beautfiul Pacific Northwest. well its no beautiful on the east side of the state, but you know what im saying.

Wow I just stumbled onto this thread. Nice Pics Miller! I'll see if AZMC has some pictures for you.

We had what 18 - 20 Mazdas come out to meet you.

I have this one before the carwash girls washed our cars. I'll keep searching for more.

Not all the pics turned out that great, for example, Tony's ass end does not photograph well. lol.
I uploaded the "good pics" to folders in my site. I say "folders" because my site didn't like them all being in one.

Thanks Bill. Yeah that car show was a blast. Took us three months to organize a meet that big in alabama, and then you make a couple calls the day before and bam, haha.

Your Welcome we all had a blast. thanks for taking part of your trip to spend the day & most of the night with us.

Sabrina (Revenant) took around 146 pictures that night. I am downloading them from her sight because I never did. LOL

I just stumbled across these pictures and they were pretty amazing. I've never been out west, but my girlfriend is going to AAU in San Fran in January. I'm honestly thinking of driving out there now just to experience some of the things along the way. The pics of San Fran are awesome, it looks so much different than what I'm used to in MI. Detroit just isn't a good looking city when you see some of the others across the country.

amazing pictures... amazing journey. I really want to go on a trip like this where you just drive and see all the sights along the way... no deadlines, no airports... just the scenery.

How much do you reckon you spent on gas/hotel/random s***?

Hmmm, I would say probably about $300 on gas, but that's coming from Alabama all the way to Washington, and you can't take a trip much longer than that, haha. We spent about $350 on hotels, mainly because of one un-freaking-believably high priced one in Sedona Arizona. We also stayed with a few people along the way, including Rich (505Zoom) in Albuquerque and Matthew in Monterey. As for food, we spent a lot of time in Subways, but I didnt really keep track of it. It's definatly something everyone should do.

Great pictures - you've got talent. That highway along the coast looks amazing, I'll have to drive that one day. Over all, how many days were you on the road? How packed was the car?

I agree with Daedalus, road trips with no deadlines or set schedules are definitely the best.
