I see your point also, Chris, and agree there are some tradeoffs for performance, but clunking shouldn't be one of them. The reason most folks buy the MPS is that the "factory" guys have the R&D money and engineers to make it "right" - rather than enduring the aftermarket "maybe it'll work" philosophy... with a now-50kmile-warranty, Mazda certainly doesn't want the liability hanging over their heads for replacing all these clunking bushings... so if it comes back I'm set for the life of the warranty, too bad the dealer is 45 minutes away... or else I take the tradeoff into my hands and get rubber bushings, trading some suspension stiffness for a quieter ride. Ah well - life is a series of tradeoffs sometimes, and, like in chess, they compound each other...
