I got my MS3 in Jan '07 but have constantly lurked here since June '03. This site has changed alot from simply informative and a great place to post pics of mods, to an entertaining community of Mazda owners and lovers. I miss alot of the straightforward and non-condecending help and suggestions but I am addicted to the greatest collction of one-liners, jokes, and comebacks mixed in with lots of info if you search enough. SwampAss is the funniest mofo I never met.

I bought the first one off the showroom floor in 2003 but didn't join the board until 2004

I bought the MS3 off the showroom floor as well in March of 2007.

and did someone say that swampy was the funniest mofo they ever met?? I kinda see him as the wizard of oz, he's funny behind that big green curtain of the interweb, but in real life, not so much........

I forget when the hell I bought mine and I'm not going out to check the registration, but when the engine finally dies I'll replace it with a forged unit and bolt on a bigger turbo. I effin love this car.

Edit: sent the wife an e-mail. She says I got it in March '07.

Nov 06 and here in another guise well before that for the months of speculation about whether it would be truly kickass or just a mite better than the MSP. I was a true believer and made the jump from my year old MS6. It was and is a perfect fit for me and I couldn't be happier. I do suffer from AWD envy every now and again, though, and just might take a test drive in the '09 Rex and maybe even the '10 Ralliart Sportback if people have any success getting more juice out of the '09 RA coupe. I think it would have to be a hell of a test drive to get me to switch. I still hold out hope that Forzda will give us a small 3-based AWD.
