just over 42k on the car. It isn't real serious yet. but it happens pretty easily under heavy load in 3-4...& 5. Nothing too concerning for DD use, but it will certainly slip during a spirited ratchet through the gates.

Unfortunately I do not have the tools/knowledge to pull off the update myself...so labor rates, here I come! I have contacted a few places in the area (via email) and no word back yet. I'm not in a huge rush...plus I'm broke (stupid buying/remodeling houses). Although I did call my local Mazda dealer and they quoted me 697+tax on labor. I get a 20% discount so that would total around $600 out the door I think. Then again, they do have a way of getting that bill up.

I'm still hoping there is a local shop that will be reliable and do it for less. Already talked to Ken at PG and decided on the ACT stage 1 for a replacement. Although I did forget to ask what the fly weight was on that...lighter than OEM, I'm sure.

Is anyone running a beefed up clutch/fly AND have the trz RMM/Trans mounts? I know the trans mount opens up the noise of our drivetrain, but wondering if the upgrade to both mount and clutch/fly will be overbearing.

Lenny on msf had act and burnt it up, also he installed tranny mount for two days before saying it was unbearable with that clutch

as pleasant as that sounds...anyone have suggestions for clutch/fly that won't be absurd w/ trz rmm/transmount? I'm guessing I'm SOL on that, but replacing with factory is spendy. I've looked on rockauto for an on the cheap solution, but I honestly don't know what all parts I would need from there...as it's a piece by piece ordeal.
