and when the turbo doesnt seem to be working sometime in the near future then what? are we left with a broken down car or is he garunteeing <~~however you spell it that it wont and he would fix it at no addtional charge because if thats the case im willing to throw away my warranty and get this turbo....

and as far as i know the kit comes with 1 year warranty, hes in San Antonio, Texas. Im fairly close in distance from him but no spare car for me...

To make things short... he has some books on turbos design building etc. Hes a very well recognized turbo guru here in the States, he makes the turbo for miatas that Bill Cardell from FLying Miata does fuel tuning do transform a 140hp miata in a 280hp beast. And no problems with those, check miata.net for more info. Also, mazda has used his kits in several autoshows, he has been commented in different magazines, etc, etc, etc.

In other words his not yer local performance shop peep. Has a degree in the stuff, blah, blah, blah. Do a search in this forum for BEGI or turbo. OR go to miata.net or read his site...

I was the other one from Austin to offer my car. I told Corky that I wanted to be the second car so I would only have to give it up for three weeks. I had my car in the body shop for a week and a half and nearly went crazy not driving it. I have been trying to find another car to run for two to three months but no luck yet.

so for 2gz we get a all the mentioned above and nothing more no strings attached cause if thats the case im down for the turbo but i read that it was 2995??? whats that, is it if you order then if you leave your car with him then its 2000???? hit me up

gonzoatx: please read the posts man. $2900 or aprox for full turbo kit IF u give the $200 deposit now.

the $2000 would be if u lend ur car to Corky Bell for aprox 2months and pay in advance. SO, to whoever this person is that LENDS the car to MR. Bell, he gets a full turbo, installed and tuned into his car for just 2k. But now, thats only for that person. The rest of us interested would pay regular price.

Today im making some calls for possible cars for me to get while doing this, but theres no guarantee.

man at least u got something running under yer hood. unlike us... i called everybody that came to my mind but no luck... im down to just one chance which i highly doubt..
we need somebody with a spare car and the 2k!!!!
