Now I know all of you guys are going to think this is a skyline or some badass s***, well its not, its not even a car. It is a computer. I am the biggest ******* nerd alive. Most of you that know me, know this. Well I have a buisness called Rent-a-Geek, www.thegeekery.biz , (shamless plug) well I am going to one of the biggest Nerd events in the NW soon, Called PDXLAN, it is awesome. S0 I have been building this rig for over a month now and all i can say is it is a BEAST. Here are all the specs for all the Social Engineers out there--

DFI LANPARTY Ultra B Mobo
AMD XP 3300
2 gig corsair pc 3200,
Corsair LED heatspreaders
GeForce 6800 Ultra, 256 bit (not even sold here yet)friend that works for Nvidia hooked me up)
SATA 1 raptor HD 74 gig, 10000rpm
SATA Samsung 250gig 7200
SONY 8x DVD-R, DVD-R
Memorex DVD player, and reader
520watt power supply,
NZXT Guardian Case, (looks like a gundam, so i had to buy it)
Has LEDS in the EYEs, and Top crown.
7 AERO Cool blue green UV reactive led fans,
3 cold cathodes
A Ghost FAN grill (i thought that should go with the name)
VANTEC fan controller, 3 temp sensor.
leds like crazy

The pics dont really do any of it any justice, i didnt have the proc in during this pic, becuase i was thermal pasting the heat sink and cpu. The only thing i wish is that you could see more of it, but the case doesnt allow it. I probably left a s*** load out. But whatever, none of you care anyway

And i havent really had all the time to clean up my wires either.

I still have to put in my other burner, and some other things, like my HD coolers thats why in the front pic the bays look so lonely

XP 3300? Please elaborate as theres no such beast, I'm assuming its overclocked. I too am a computer hardware geek, and I like your setup. I too want to add the disco ball in my home made clear case.

Unfortunately for me I can't afford both hobbies, this or my car :-( I choose car but I'm looking to get an AMD mobile cpu either the 2400+ or 2500+ and overclock that bad boy, that or spend the $70-80 on the ebay intake...oh what to choose.

Thanks, I have been doing it for awhile, this hasent been my most in depth modded out PC, but I just like the wait it flows, and I am the ricer of PC's

i saw that case at Fry's electronics...the black one looks cooler i think...but yeah, can you really define how this thing is beastly ?

BenchMarks, all Benchmarks. the New Nvidia GPU 400 mhz ramdac 256 bit, 2 gig corsair , 10000 RPM raptor HD. New DFI board, man sorry, if it is not up to par , for all that high powered cell shading

gahahaha okae...i'm just not really into computer hardware...i don't really have a standard for comparison so yeah...don't take offense in my question. just want to know how much faster or beastlier this thing is compared to let's say, some computer w/ a different nvidia card, motherboard, processor, etc..

The processor isnt that different, just a Xp 3300, 2gig or ram, is kind of rare but not really, The DFI motherboard is hands down the best motherboard you can buy right now. The only HD faster RPM wise then the Raptor is the Cheetah and that is 15000, and about 350 to 400 dollars for a 40 gig harddrive, both of my harddrives are Serial ATA the highest speed for Parallel ATA is only 133 megabytes, SATA is 150 MBPS. THE NVIDIA 6800 specs- Fill rate 6.4 billion texels/sec., Memory Bandwidth - 35.2 GB/sec., Memory Data Rate 1100 MHZ, Pixels per clock - 35.2 GB/sec.

ATI 9800 Pro specs Fill Rate 5.0 Billion texels/sec, Mem Bandwidth 22.3 Gb/sec, Memory Data Rate 900 mhz, pixels per clock 28.0/sec

To a gigatic nerd that means a lot just from a Video card. And that is ATI top card the one they just came out with too. And it only has 128 MB physical memory, its still 256 bit, but the Nvidia is 256 memory, 256 bit. Much better card. And s*** man it has lots of blinky things, that get non intelligent people like myself excited. Yes I do agree the black is better, but they didnt have it at the time. But i was in a hurry. I still love it alot. Playing some Farcry right now. Runs perfect.

hmm...i c. yeah, my friend has the ati 9800 pro (which he constantly brags about)...so your system pretty much totally pwns his with all that shizz. i wanted to put a computer together, but i'm too lazy. hehe, looks cool.

hahaha...be like that one guy...mashie or something, and put servos on the side and put those wings on that extend and swing out. that'd be crazy.
