Testing new NO CEL method on catless cars

I put a MIL eliminator in months ago, and since then I've occaisonally gotten a CEL that eventually goes away (in a couple of days usually). I assume that the MIL eliminator is bad. Has anyone put one of these plug arrestors on with a MIL in already? Does anyone think this will help with my CEL?

Mach: Most likely it will make the problem worse, since the CEL you're getting (If it's related to the second O2 sensor) is more likely than not reading an excessively low signal (Too much resistance on the MIL). The spacers will lower the signal even more, therefor making the CEL more persistant. You'll probably want to directly rewire the O2 if you're contemplating doing this mod.

yea that sucks...I just did mil elim #2 a few days ago...meh oh well soldering isnt that hard....

I'll solder in a resistor and a cap any day before I drill out my O2 bung irreversibly. But, I am an electrician so...

Guess you didn't read the post. You drill out the non-fouler, not your 02 bung. I'm an electrician too, but I hate cutting up factory wiring. The fix worked for me, no CEL yet!

i would do this over the mil eliminator because from the sounds of it... less carbon and s*** hits the o2 sensor to foul it up.

I guess this would be the best route with a corksport exhaust right? Im going to jump on that group buy now.

i just went and got the HELP! Spark plug non fouler. Part 42002 for 3.99 from autozone.
Its a 2 pack, that you screw together, and then screw the open end into the o2, and the other into the bung.
I'm going to be getting this done tomorrow.
This does require that you drill out the hole to allow for more flow to the o2, but thats pretty easy.

heres a pic of what i bought.

I got part 4209 and drilled out the center. Is this not going to work?

it works. i use this on my car and 2 other guys are using it in dallas. works fine if you drill it out slightly bigger than the o2. You dont even need to use both. I use just one. It covers up the o2 sensor and heats it up. We datalogged the effects and it keeps it at the voltage where it thinks theres a cat there.

I just put my D/P on, on Saturday at the Columbus dyno. I had the bung welded on in a bad spot, so I could only use 1 non fouler. 200 miles and no cel yet.

The fouler fix will work for the OBX 4-1 header also right? In the second o2 bung...I hope. Got my fingers crossed because I don't wanna go cutting wires and splicing and what not.
