Testing new NO CEL method on catless cars

600 miles with mechanical (spark plug non-fouler) CEL fix & obx header.

All is well!

AWR header and the "fix" here. Only about 100 miles so far BUT my CEL used to come back on within 50.

Im obsessed with puttin mileage on my car now. I cant help it. I must do it. I must see if the light will reappear!

ok so this is an old thread.....but when i drill out the hole do i need to drill through both things or just one of them?

^^ Just one. You screw the O2 Sensor into the drilled out one, and screw those into the non drilled out one. Then screw everything into your pipe.

This way the O2 sensor sits in a little pocket of air inside the drilled out non-fouler, but doesn't get a strong a reading as if it were sitting in the middle of the pipe, so no CEL.

Sorry to bring back the dead. I have a corksport exhaust I drilled out the non fouler. But there is no place on my exhaust to plug the 2nd o2 sensor into. Where do i plug it in?

You might have to take the downpipe in to have a bung welded to it...

I just put the nonfouler in as well - much better/easier install than I expected. I'd definitely recommend this over soldering wires!

No offense, but if you didn't know you have 2 sensors you really shouldn't be messing with you car.

which o2 sensor do you put it on? the 1st clossest to the block or the 2nd closest to the end of the exhaust, i have a obx header?
