i read the specs on my new teins lowering springs about the bumpstops. it says i dont need to cut it. I was just wondering after reading few thread I noticed that peeps w/ spool, eibach. etc... do cut their bump stop. So should i cut mine too since tein is 2" drop.

how's the ride w/ the stock bumpstop and w/ the cut bumpstop?

by the way after installing the springs....is their any noise? like squeaking, rattling interior panels or suspension?

i have the eibachs... no need to cut the bump stops for any spring.

you only need to cut them if you put coilover-sleeves on.

the ride isn't gonna change with a shorter bumpstop persay, you just free up a lil more room for the strut to move until bottoming out. you shouldn't bottom out your struts anyway, unless you WANT them to die, very quickly!

The bump stops should not be cut. It says this on the install intructions. There is no squeeking, rattling etc.

i have the tein springs and i didn't cut the stops. they ride very nice, and the car looks really good lowered like that. i'm riding on stock struts that have 80+K miles on them, and 20K where with cut stock springs, so new struts will be my next big purchase.
