Dude, **** what people recommend. Shops are trying to sell you what they have in their inventory.

Both the clutches you mention are only good to 350 ft/lbs. of torque approx.

With your setup, you have way more torque possibilities than that.

now how am i soppouse to know what clutch to buy ? there are hundreds of brands and models, if i don't ask a shop that sells parts, who am i going to ask ? tell me FOCUS what clutch do i need ?

What most companies offer is clutches that handle 50-80% more power than stock. Stock is 170HP, so that menas their clutch , technically can handle approx 306 HP to the flywheel, or approx 257WHP.

Do you see the problem? You have passed that horspower level.

I only know of bully clutch that has 5 different stages of clutches, up to a 4 puck with no springs, but that is overkill.

There may be other companies as well, I don't know of others.

Well I still don't know what to buy... i don't know which way to go... can you route me? im not the only one outthere with these power so, somebody have to know what clutch is good for what i have and will have later. im planning with a better tune and using methanol to up the boost and get more power. but i don't want to have a 18 wheeler clutch feeling.

I have ACT Extreme Pressure Plate and ACT Street Disk, and these clutch is not slipping even now that the car its boosting 20 psi, the clutch i want to buy is for a spare, im buying the parts needed to finish these car, before it gets shipped, since shipping here to spain might be expensive to buy later..

I also need an advice for a aluminum Radiator and fans, since the money i paid TBK to put some good one, ended up with a Plastic OEM crap, with cheese fans..

but FOCUS, what clutches you guys are running outthere then ? i am not that different from you guys. I was told that ACT Clutches holds more than what they advertise. the clutch i said i have installed it's holding everything you guys know i have. i mean that's why im asking you since you seem to know alot. who else im going to ask ? if shops only sells what they have in stock.. i don't know who to believe here. not saying you are lying don't get me wrong

look bud, i wasnt trying to rile you up into another arguing frenzy. you do this in just about every thread youre in, the pattern is easy to follow now. youll get our opinion on something and then proceed to try and say were wrong. you certainly arent making many friends by doing this.

i respect the fact that when you started posting here you warned that your grammar wasnt the best. one big thing that will help people understand you though, is if you separate your ideas into paragraphs. going on one continuous rant makes people not want to read what youre trying to get across.

im not saying anything bad, i was just asking what clutch do i need to buy for a spare. Focus said shops sells what they have in stock, Maxx said the clutch i was going to buy is not going to hold.. so.. what am i suppouse to do then ? ask who ? the actual clutch i have is not slipping yet, its holding, that don't mean im saying you guys are wrong...

how much torque are you putting down and how much do you plan on putting down?

OK, I use a 6 puck w/spring sintered iron on both sides. It more than hold the power, but it also eats through the flywheel and pressure plate.

You have to learn that when you play with big power you lose reliability.

I know that this means nothing to you, and you will make another 30 posts about it.

So here goes:

No I don not have a part number for you to order.

No I do not have magical clutch for you.

If you want help, I pointed you in the direction you need to go, but you will not because it's not a part off the shelf you can buy.

You need to put a little effort in to this...

you asked us how much your car might sell for. we said neighborhood of 15k and since that youve done nothing argue your car is worth so much more even though youre not even selling it.

what do you do about your clutch? well focus gave you a link, which i would go check out if i were you.

well according to the dyno the car maded 372whp at 15 psi, i don't know the torque cause on the dyno don't come... but that was before the bigger injectors, adjustable cam gears, methanol injection and a raise of 5 psi and a street tune done by TBK, i beliebe the car its making a little more than 372whp but TBK didn't dyno the car again. so i don't know what i have now. if i get a good dyno tune and advance the timing using the methanol i don't know how higher in HP we can go or the gains.. im not going to claim anything again without a new dyno sheet, i don't want to get bashed again for it.

well you need to figure out your torque goals. clutch ratings are based on the torque they can hold, not the horse power.

Call them. You asked for someone to help you, someone will answer the phone and help you.

Put a little effort, you need to speak to them, not buy something that you see on a website.

I guess i need to dyno the car again to find out the torque cause i don't know, the dyno sheet TBK Gaves me only says the whp not torque.. im a litlle impress there are 400whp proteges out there but no ones with no offence please, knows what i need to buy...

I get your point FOCUS. but based on your knowledge. what do you think i'll need ? i don't want a clutch that i can't drive normal the car. is not going to be my daily driven car anymore, just weekends. but i don't want a clutch i can't enjoy driving the car you know. something like a track racing clutch. i need something streetable.
