Taking Off Passenger Side Kick Panel Plug?

I'm having a crazy time trying to take off the plug that's holding the small passenger side kick panel, so that I can get to the ECU/PCM (not sure what's correct for P5's).

Anyone know how To take it off? I'm afraid to break it, but I've also been very rough with it and it won't come off.

Haha, I guess I'll pull harder then. You're referring to the lower part of your kick panel right?

The one right up against the center console or near the door??? I am talking about the piece up on the console...

The center console, but much lower near the floor, there's a small plastic piece with a plug on it. From what I gathered online, that's how I get to the ECU. It's a different plug than the larger middle console one. But I guess they're basically the same kind of plug, you just pull it off?

I pulled the carpet up. So the ECU is under that large metal plate right?
