taking apart the dash to look at the deck

quick question: im pretty sure on how to take my dash apart to get a good look at my deck for an installation of a sub and amp, but i wanted to check with you guys on how do take my dash apart. so if it is at all possible can you guys tell me how to take apart the proper items in steps? thanks again.
