How did you get the Taillight apart to paint it? and do your backup lights still appear white?

They're on corksport.com for $215. I've also seen them on eBay cheaper than that. I got a good deal on them because I bought them from another member.

I didnt take them apart, no need, I went to Walmart and bought Transparent Red Paint then Painted the Housing where it was clear Red, The only downside is my Reverse Lights are Red... It only cost me $1.58 and it made the car look way better IMO of course.

So you painted the outside of the housing? How is it holding up, did you clearcoat it? I think a writeup is in order

Its holding up great, I did it about 9-10 months ago and it still looks like it came factory which is surprising since it held up through the winter. Nah I didnt clear coat at all, I just put 2 coats of the paint on and its still there no fading or chips yet even when the lights are on it looks red not that pinkish color you get sometimes.

And the all red taillights are pretty nice.

or how about this one...the light on the left w/ only the top signal circle tinted red, or the one on the right with only the bottom reverse circle tinted...

I think the all red looks the best... really good in fact... but if you wanted one of the last two I'd pick the left light. It doesnt look that bad either..

I like the all red look too. It looks classy.
Is it illegal to have your backup lights red?
