Ok, I'm in need of getting an RPM signal for an installation I want to do (Wanna do a write-up so don't wanna spoil the surprise). I have done a s*** load of searches and to be honest I have about 3 or so ways to pull the signal.
However, I wanted to ask to see if anyone had a simple solution. I was thinking of pulling the signal from the Nav harness (I don't have nav), but I see this works from some and not others....has anyone with experience with this have any info? Does this pull total RPM or just 1/4?
The next step is to use a GPM wire from MSD to pull the signal but I don't think the item I want to install can select 1 cylinder.
So the last step would be to use the MSD 8913 Tack Adapter but I would rather use the Nav solution if it is accurate as it will not require any wire cutting and the end result will be a cleaner installation.
Thanks for the input / help and I think you will like what I intend to install next
