My main point being that if you feel compelled to do so, racing on the street should take place away from...well...anything. It's a matter that is relative to location, that looks to be a fairly urban area, so maybe not such a good idea. I personally live in the middle of nowhere, so getting on it affects very few, if any people other than myself.
People will always build cars that are fast and street legal, and maybe feel like driving fast on the street, and that's cool, just do it with a little more common sense than racing down a street that poses some risk of accident. I'm sure that neither of them are particularly stupid, as building cars of that calibre takes a little bit of thought, but they could excersize a bit more common sense. Many people on the road have poor judgement of distance, and the effect that increased speed has on closing distance. Someone could very easily pull out in front of either of them.
I agree that I might have posted hastily calling them retards, however I will stand by my beliefs that any kind of wide open, racing situation like this should be contained to a more controlled environment.
